Krejcikova first semifinalist

Barbora Krejcikova was the first to reach the semifinals. The number eight seed was too much for Elena-Gabriela Ruse, winning 6-1, 6-2. The Romanian had been responsible for eliminating defending champion Elise Mertens just a day earlier.

After her match, Krejcikova once again emphasized how much she enjoys playing on grass. The Czech won Wimbledon in 2024.

Krejcikova’s opponent for a spot in the final will  Magda Linette. The Polish was too strong for Zeynep Sonmez from Turkey with 6-4 6-2.
