Men’s Singles Draw: Griekspoor Against Van de Zandschulp

The men’s singles draw has produced a notable first-round matchup between the top two players from the Netherlands. Tallon Griekspoor, seeded sixth, has been paired with none other than Botic van de Zandschulp. This marks the fourth meeting between the two at the highest level, with former Libéma Open champion Griekspoor leading 2-1 in their head-to-head record.

The four top-ranked players—top seed Felix Auger-Aliassime (ATP-6), former champion Alex de Minaur (ATP-7), past finalist Daniil Medvedev (ATP-8), and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech (ATP-25)—receive a bye in the first round.

The young Dutch wildcard players Mees Röttgering and Thijs Boogaard have also learned their opponents. Röttgering (18) will face a qualifier in his first main draw match. Boogaard, meanwhile, makes his main tournament debut against Chinese player Wu Yibing (ATP-92), after having participated in the qualifiers last year.

Defending champion Gabriel Diallo faces French veteran Adrian Mannarino, another former champion. The 37-year-old left-hander won his first title on the Brabant grass in 2019 and is a regular at the Libéma Open.
