Libéma Open can already reveal when headline players will have their first matches. With three top 10 players, multiple Dutch heroes, and several former champions on the schedule, spectacle is guaranteed every day on the Brabant grass.

Monday
The main tournament kicks off with a bang on Monday, June 8. The 18-year-old Mees Röttgering, participating with a wildcard, makes his main draw debut against a qualifier. More Dutch tennis enjoyment awaits with Botic van de Zandschulp and his partner Tallon Griekspoor playing doubles.

Also on the agenda is the clash between former US Open champion and ex-world number three Marin Cilic and the spectacular lefty Denis Shapovalov. In Ugo Humbert, there’s yet another tricky left-handed player to watch on opening day.

On the women’s side, two familiar faces and former champions kick things off on Monday: defending champion Elise Mertens takes on 2019 US Open champion and former finalist at Autotron ‘s-Hertogenbosch Bianca Andreescu, and two-time champion Ekaterina Alexandrova faces Panna Udvardy.

Second seed Clara Tauson comes into action against the 17-year-old talent Mia Pohankova. Daria Kasatkina will also show her creativity on this first day of play, as does Paula Badosa.

Tuesday
On day two, the grass court of centre court is cleared for numbers one and two of the Netherlands. Indeed, a day after their doubles match, Griekspoor and Van de Zandschulp face each other this time.

The 17-year-old Thijs Boogaard, like Röttgering holding a wildcard, will make his main draw tournament debut against Chinese Yibing Wu. With that, Dutch contribution isn’t over yet, as Suzan Lamens also starts her campaign on Tuesday against the in-form Anastasia Potapova.

Title holder Gabriel Diallo and former Wimbledon semifinalist Hubert Hurkacz are also making an appearance on Tuesday, not to mention Belgian crowd favorite Zizou Bergs.

Two-time Grand Slam winner Barbora Krejcikova, whose velvety technique works well on grass, faces Renata Zarazua. An American battle takes place this Tuesday between the fourth-seeded Emma Navarro and Caty McNally.

Wednesday & Thursday
On Wednesday, several top 10 stars take to the court. Alex de Minaur, winner of Libéma Open in 2024, kicks off his tournament then. The same applies to former world number one and ex-finalist Daniil Medvedev. Who the opponents of these two world-class players will be becomes clear on Monday and Tuesday.

On Thursday, it’s up to number one of the seeding list to get his tournament underway. Felix Auger-Aliassime, world number six, once reached the semifinals and naturally has his sights set on the final victory this year.

The winner of the Dutch matchup between Griekspoor and Van de Zandschulp will of course also return on Thursday for the second round.
