French sensation Fils heads to Libéma Open

Arthur Fils will be in action at the Libéma Open from June 6–14. The 21-year-old Frenchman is considered one of the faces of the new generation.

The talented player from Bondoufle is coached by none other than Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic.

Fils has already won four ATP tournaments in his still-young career. This year, he emerged victorious in Barcelona and finished as runner-up in Doha.

Last year, he reached the 14th position on the world rankings. Due to an injury, he was forced to end his previous season in July. This year, he made a strong comeback with several semi-finals, two finals, and a title.

This will be the Frenchman’s third participation at the Libéma Open.

Daniil Medvedev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Marin Cilic, Zizou Bergs, Tallon Griekspoor, and Botic van de Zandschulp will also be present on the Brabant grass.
