Dutch number one Lamens in action at Libéma Open

Libéma Open welcomes the Netherlands’ best player to the grass courts of the Autotron ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Suzan Lamens will compete at the only WTA tournament in the Netherlands.

With the arrival of the 26-year-old Lamens, the two best players from the Netherlands will be present. Former winner (2023) and number one among the men, Tallon Griekspoor, had already confirmed his participation earlier.

Lamens is participating in the WTA 250 tournament in her home country for the fourth time. At each previous participation, the player from Berkel en Rodenrijs advanced one round further. At her debut in 2022, the opening round was the final stop. In 2024, she reached the second round, and last year she made it to the quarterfinals. This reflects Lamens’ learning curve and career path. Step by step upward.

The ATP tournament welcomes, in addition to Griekspoor, also top 10 players Daniil Medvedev and Felix Auger-Aliassime. Last year’s finalist Zizou Bergs is also participating.
