Auger-Aliassime becomes second top-10 player to commit to Libéma Open

World-class player Felix Auger-Aliassime has confirmed his participation in the Libéma Open, following earlier confirmation from Daniil Medvedev (ATP No. 10). The 25-year-old Canadian is currently ranked world No. 7.

It will be Auger-Aliassime’s second appearance at the event. In 2022, he reached the semifinals on the grass courts of the Autotron in ’s-Hertogenbosch, where he was defeated by Tim van Rijthoven in a thrilling three-set match.

Since 2022, Auger-Aliassime has won an impressive nine titles, all on hard courts. However, he is also very capable on grass, as shown by his two finals on this surface. He also reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2021.

This season, Auger-Aliassime won the tournament in Montpellier and finished as a finalist at the ABN AMRO Open. His highest career ranking is No. 5.

In addition to Medvedev, Tallon Griekspoor and Zizou Bergs will also compete at the ATP 250 event in Brabant. Bergs reached the final last year, while Griekspoor won the title on home soil in 2023.
