LO 2022: Kudermetova impresses with win over Bencic

Veronika Kudermetova has reached the semi-finals, just like in her previous participation at the 2019 Libéma Open. The world number 24 defeated second-seeded Belinda Bencic 6-4 6-2.

For Kudermetova, the semi-final in Rosmalen is another appealing result in a strong season, in which she already reached finals in Melbourne, Dubai and Istanbul. At Roland Garros she also made it to the quarter-finals.

Kudermetova will play for a place in the final against seventh-seeded Ekaterina Alexandrova or Catherine McNally.
