LO 2022: Qualifiers added to WTA main draw

The qualifiers of the women’s singles have been announced. Due to the rain, the qualifying tournament was finished on Monday.

Arianne Hartono had to wait an extra day to find out which player from the qualification tournament she would meet in the first round. It was Taylah Preston from Australia.

Her compatriot Storm Sanders meets the eighth seed Elise Mertens. The American Jamie Loeb is paired with third seed Elena Rybakina. Catherine McNally, also from the United States, takes on Daria Saville.

Olivia Gadecki meets Anhelina Kalinina, while Anastasia Tikhonova faces Kirsten Flipkens, who retires this year.
