LO 2022: Draw of doubles ensures fine opening duels

The draw for the men’s doubles has produced some fine opening duels.

The first seeded duo Herbert/Mahut open the hunt for the Libéma Open title against Ilya Ivashka and Soonwoo Kwon. Wesley Koolhof and his British partner Neal Skupski are ranked second and will take on Juio Peralta and Vega Hernandez.

Striking is the Dutch duel between Robin Haase and Matwé Middelkoop on one side of the net and Tallon Griekspoor and Daniil Medvedev on the other.

Botic van de Zandschulp forms a pair with American Mackenzie McDonald this week. They meet the couple with four first names: Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul.

Wildcard players Jesper de Jong and Tim van Rijthoven will play against Hugo Nys and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
