LO 2022: Auger-Aliassime added to line-up

The line-up of the Libéma Open welcomes top-10 player Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Auger-Aliassime is coming to the Libéma Open for the first time. The 21-year-old Canadian made it to the elite of the world ranking list at a young age.

Ten times in his early career he reached a final on the ATP Tour, including twice at the grass tournament in Stuttgart.

In February he booked his first tournament victory in Rotterdam. Auger-Aliassime therefore has good memories of our country. ‘The Netherlands have a special place in my heart. I won my first ATP title in Rotterdam this year. Hopefully more will follow. I am therefore looking forward to playing in the Netherlands again.’

World number two Daniil Medvedev and former top-10 players Marin Cilic and David Goffin had previously confirmed their participation.

Botic van de Zandschulp will make his debut in the main draw. The Dutch number one is on an amazing rise. Recently he reached the final of the ATP tournament in Munich.
