Due to the Corona pandemic Libéma Open 2020 was postponed to 5-13 June 2021. This week, the week the tournament would have taken place at the beautiful grass courts of the Autotron ‘s-Hertogenbosch, we look back at some of the players’ greatest, funniest, most emotional and most successful moments during the tournament.
This time with Robin Haase.
Robin Haase made his ATP debut in 2006 and it was no coincidence that this was in ’s-Hertogenbosch. The youngster could not wait to show his skills to the public and played against Juan Carlos Ferrero in the first round. His first service seemed perfect, but the line judge called a foot fault. A memory Haase will never forget.
The former semi-finalist, who had his own fan tribune at centre court last year, also talks about his mischief with Jacco Eltingh’s car.
