Vandeweghe sees second Rosmalen title coming closer

CoCo Vandeweghe (WTA-43) has booked a place in the quarter-final of the Ricoh Open The 2014 winner had no trouble at all with Evgeniya Rodina (WTA-120), beating her 6- 2, 6-1.
The sixth seed dominated from start to finish, served exceptionally strongly and regularly went to the net successfully. Vandeweghe did not have one break chance against her in the one-sided competition and lost only nine points in her own service games.
The Russian had a surprise in store in the second round by sending second seed Jelena Jankovic (WTA-24) home in three sets. Vandeweghe was responsible for the dispatching of Indy de Vroome in the opening round.
In the quarter-final Vandeweghe will have to deal with the winner of the match between her compatriot Madison Brengle (WTA-68) and Kateryna Kozlova (WTA-104) from the Ukraine.
