Temporary indoor court at Ricoh Open in case of rain

A temporary indoor court has been installed at the Autotron so the public can watch tennis in case of a long period of rain. Than former tournament winner Sjeng Schalken will play some exhibition matches instead against several wildcard players.

The visitors of the Ricoh Open will be invited to the great hall of the Autotron when needed.  While enjoying a drink they are still able to watch the demonstrations in case of a possible rain period.

Luckily this investment has not yet been used so far and all matches were played on the outdoor grass courts.
