De Minaur Remains Undefeated and Faces Majchrzak in Final
13 June, 17:31
Alex de Minaur continues his winning run at the Libéma Open. In the semi-finals, he tied Adrian Mannarino to the victory train.
The Australian proved too strong for the left-handed Frenchman with a 6-4 6-0 victory; the latter won the tournament in 2019.
The 27-year-old De Minaur was immediately successful at his first participation in 2024 and claimed the title. Last year, world number six had to withdraw due to a shoulder injury. This means he now has a 7-0 record in matches on Brabant grass.
To add a second Libéma Open title to his total of 11, he must beat Kamil Majchrzak on Sunday.
The Pole surprised third seed Daniil Medvedev in the other semi-final with a 7-6(4) 6-1 victory.
