McNally Upsets Countrywoman Navarro

The 24-year-old McNally will face Solana Sierra in the second round. The Argentine had previously defeated Lois Boisson in three sets: 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.

Ajla Tomljanovic has also advanced to the last 16. The Australian disposed of Jessica Bouzas Maneiro with a 6-3, 6-1 win.

Belgian fans could barely contain their joy, as Hanne Vandewinkel managed to secure victory against Nikola Bartunkova after nearly three hours of play. The qualifier claimed a 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-5 triumph over the 20-year-old Czech player.
