Wildcard De Vroome in Rosmalen

Indy de Vroome has received a wildcard for the main tournament of the Ricoh Open in Rosmalen. The 20-year-old from Brabant will make her debut at the grass tournament in her own province.

The current number 274 of the WTA ranking participated in the qualification tournament in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015, but never succeeded in qualifying.

De Vroome played four continuous weeks on grass in Japan at the ITF tour in May and twice reached the quarter-final and once the last four.

Dutch wildcards have already been allocated to Richel Hogenkamp for the women’s tournament and to Igor Sijsling, who will play in the mens’s singles.
