Former champion Krajicek gets wild card for qualification tournament

Michaëlla Krajicek has embarked on a comeback since the beginning of the year. The 2006 winner accepted a wildcard for the qualifiers.

‘I have so many great memories of Libéma Open. That I get the opportunity to be back in action on the beautiful grass courts at this stage of my career, I am very grateful for that. I will do my utmost to qualify for the main tournament.’

The last time Krajicek was in action in ‘s-Hertogenbosch was in 2015.

If she manages to reach the main draw on her own, she will join Arantxa Rus (WTA-49), Jessica Pegula (WTA-5), two-time winner Ekaterina Alexandrova (WTA-18), Liudmila Samsonova (WTA-19) and Elise Mertens (WTA-30), among others.
