(2023) Alexandrova meets Kudermetova in final

Ekaterina Alexandrova and Veronika Kudermetova will decide who will be crowned this year’s champion.

Alexandrova already has a Libéma Open trophy at home since last year. The titleholder again remained without a set loss in the semi-final against Aliaksandra Sasnovich. She reached her second final match in a row 6-1 7-6(1) and lifted her successful win streak to no less than 18 sets.

Kudermetova beat Viktoria Hruncakova on centre court in the second semi-final.

The number one seed has been on a roll all week and has not lost a set so far. Against Hruncakova, she did not run into any problems. With 6-3 6-2 she overcame her Slovakian opponent.

The final match between Alexandrova and Kudermetova is Sunday at noon and will be broadcast live on Ziggo Sport.
