(2023) Raonic experiences positive comeback in ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Milos Raonic has won his first ATP match since July 2021. The Canadian service gun was helped by his main serve in his debut at Libéma Open in a 6-3 6-4 victory over Miomir Kecmanovic.
Raonic won 34 out of 37 points on his first serve, including 15 aces. With that, the 2016 Wimbledon finalist looked like he never left, notching a handsome victory over the number five seed.
A potential quarter-final against top seed Daniil Medvedev beckons, but to reach the last eight himself, Raonic still has to deal with Jordan Thompson or qualifier Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
Marc-Andrea Huesler was responsible for another surprise, taking out eighth-ranked Maxime Cressy 6-2 7-6(2). Number seven seeded Ugo Humbert beat Jason Kubler 6-4 6-2.
