LO 2019 – Kudermetova and Riske reach semi-finals

Veronika Kudermetova and Alison Riske have reached the semi-finals.

Kudermetova needed three sets to defeat Greet Minnen. The world’s number 60 came back from one set disadvantage against the Belgian qualifier. The Russian won with 4-6 7-5 6-3 on court 1.

In the battle for a place in the final Kudermetova will meet Alison Riske. The American was too strong for Ekaterina Alexandrova.

Riske defeated the Russian with 7-5 6-3 in her quarter-final’s match on court 1 where she previously successfully finished the postponed match against Polona Hercog (6-4 7-6(5)).
