De Bakker no match for Mannarino

Mannarino needed exactly one hour to defeat De Bakker, who entered the main tournament with a wild card.
Mannarino will meet fourth seed Fernando Verdasco in the second round. The Spaniard, who is also left-handed, received a bye in the first round.
However, there was Dutch success in the doubles. Robin Haase and Jean-Julien Rojer reached the quarter-finals by defeating Marcelo Arevalo and Miquel Angel Reyes-Varela with 6-3 6-4. The Davis Cup pair’s next opponents will be British pair Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski.
