Smooth start for Gasquet

Richard Gasquet has reached the quarter-finals. The second seed defeated Evgeny Donskoy, 6-2 6-2.

In today’s first match on centre court the former world’s number 7 had no problems with the 28-years-old Russian who, unlike Gasquet, already had played a match on the grass courts of the Autotron. The 30-year-old Frenchman received a bye in the first round.

Gasquet will meet Stefanos Tsitsipas or Malek Jaziri from Tunisia in the quarter-finals. The 19-year-old Greek made his breakthrough this year and received a wildcard for Rosmalen at the last moment.
