Muller finalist for the second time
17/06/17, 17:36 | More on: Gilles MullerFor the second consecutive year Gilles Muller has reached the final of the Ricoh Open. The left-handed Luxemburger was too strong for second seed Alexander Zverev from Germany beating him with 7-6(5) 6-2.
Muller, who has an excellent service volley game, is seeded fourth in Rosmalen and likes to play on grass. Top 10 player Zverev was distracted from his usual game by the way of playing of Muller, who is 14 years older.
The world’s number 28 will have to compete in the final against Marin Cilic or Ivo Karlovic.
Last year Nicolas Mahut beat Muller in the final, which had to be postponed to the Monday due to rain.
