Qualifiers ladies tournament

The names of the six players who reached the ladies main schedule in the qualification tournament are known.

The Czech Andrea Hlavackova defeated her fellow countrywoman Karolina Muchova in the last qualifying round with 6-4 7-6 and will meet Yaroslava Shvedova in the first round of the main schedule. Antonia Lottner from Germany beat Amra Sadikovic from Switzerland with 6-2 6-2 and will compete against first seeded Domikia Cibulkova in the main schedule. Petra Krejsova proved too strong for Asia Muhammad with 6-4 6-2 and will play against Jelena Jankovic.

Japan’s Miyu Kato fought herself to the main schedule with a victory, 7-6 6-3, over Lyudmyla Kichenok and will meet Evgeniya Rodina. She will be accompanied by Cornelia Lister, who defeated Varatchaya Wongteanchai with 6-3 6-0 and who will find Natalia Vikhlyantseva on the other side of the net. The last match in the qualification tournament was between Tamara Korpatsch and Jacqueline Cako. Germany’s Korpatsch was too strong with 7-6 6-3  and will play against fifth seed Ana Konjuh in the main schedule.
