Michaëlla Krajicek will be put in the limelight ahead of the exciting finals on Sunday 15 June. The 2006 winner of the Libéma Open will bid farewell to professional tennis.

Krajicek was 17 years old when she experienced one of her career highlights by winning the highly competitive WTA tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. As world number 55, in her five matches she exclusively defeated players ranked higher, including no fewer than three top-20 players.

To this day, Krajicek is the only Dutch singles winner on the Brabant grass.

In total, Krajicek won three WTA singles titles and booked five tournament victories in the doubles. Her highest world ranking was spot 30. Her best result at Grand Slam tournaments was the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2007.

The ceremony on centre court starts at 11.40am on Sunday.
