Kiki Bertens will be present in Rosmalen this year. Holland’s number one has confirmed her participation at the Libéma Open.
Currently, Bertens ranks 29th in the world. The pupil of Raemon Sluiter says she prefers to play on clay courts but she showed that she can also manage very well on grass.
In 2015, the player from Wateringen reached the semi-final stage. Camilia Giorgi, however, proved to be too strong in two sets. The Italian hard-hitter won the title that year by beating Belinda Bencic in the final.
It will be Bertens’s sixth performance in Rosmalen, the only WTA tournament in the Netherlands.
