Mladenovic to quarter final in three sets

Kristina Mladenovic managed to win a difficult match in the second round. The second seed defeated Aliaksandra Sasnovich from Belarus in three sets: 3-6 6-2 6-2.

Last year the world’s number 13 and leading lady in France was defeated by the 23-year-old Sasnovich in the first round match at Wimbledon.

To reach the final in Rosmalen like she did last year, Mladenovic has to be successful in the quarter final where the 24-year-old player will meet seventh seed Lesia Tsurenko. The player from Ukraine beat Czech Petra Krejsova with 6-2 6-3.
