Hogenkamp receives wildcard Ricoh Open

Richel Hogenkamp will come to the Ricoh Open. Holland’s 24-year-old number two and permanent member of the successful Fed Cup team is the next player who can count on a wildcard.

Previously, Igor Sijsling and young talents Stefan Kozlov and Dalma Galfi had received  wildcards from the organization for the main tournament.

Hogenkamp will make her debut in the main draw on the Brabant grass court. The player from Doetinchem was defeated four times in the qualifications. However, last year she reached the qualification’s final round.

Withdrawal
Unfortunately the tournament has received the withdrawal of Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (WTA-27). The Russian has a shoulder injury and will not travel to Rosmalen.

Last year Pavlyuchenkova came into action for the first time at the Autotron and was defeated by Kiki Bertens in the second round. Currently the player from Wateringen has reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros.
