Auger-Aliassime Smoothly Advances to Quarterfinals

Felix Auger-Aliassime reached the quarterfinals without many problems. After a bye in the opening round, he defeated Marton Fucsovics. The top seed beat the Hungarian 6-3, 6-4.

His opponent for a spot in the final four will be Kamil Majchrzak. The Pole gave Australian qualifier James McCabe only three games: 6-0, 6-3.

The all-French clash between Adrian Mannarino and Arthur Rinderknech was won by Mannarino. The former tournament champion (2019) proved too strong for the fourth seed in a battle lasting just under two hours and forty minutes, winning 7-6(5), 3-6, 6-3.

The tricky left-hander Mannarino will play against Zhizhen Zhang, who knocked Tallon Griekspoor out of the tournament.
