The players only met once previously when Haase won the match, which was played on clay court.<\/p><p>The 25-year-old Tomic is the current number 181 of the world but was once ranked 17<sup>th<\/sup>. He has won three ATP titles and reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in 2011.<\/p><p>Tomic had a strong performance with 13 aces and three out of three won break points.
