The Estonian, seeded 25<sup>th<\/sup>, was to strong for the world\u2019s number 159: 7-5 6-2.<\/p><p>The 22-year-old Kontaveit is playing for the third time at the French Grand Slam tournament and never reached the third round before. Venus Williams and Garbine Muguruza prevented previous efforts of the current Lib\u00e9ma Open titleholder.<\/p><p>She will have to beat Petra Kvitova in the third round. The world\u2019s number 8 defeated Lara Arruabarrena from Spain with 6-0 6-4.<\/p><p>Lib\u00e9ma Open participant Alison Riske was defeated by Simona Halep. The American surprisingly won the first set against the world\u2019s number one, but she lost anyway.
