Bertens is seeded 18<sup>th<\/sup> at the second Grand Slam tournament of the year.<\/p><p>The Dutch number one and the 20-year-old Belarus played against each other once before. Bertens defeated the number 48 of the WTA rankings in three sets during a Fed Cup match in 2017.<\/p><p>Elise Mertens is seeded 16<sup>th<\/sup> in Paris and will open against Varvara Lepchenko. The 32-year-old American is the world\u2019s number 88. Mertens and the left-handed Lepchenko have never met before.<\/p><p>Twofold Rosmalen winner CoCo Vandeweghe will meet Germany\u2019s Laura Siegemund, a tough competitor. Vandeweghe is seeded 15<sup>th<\/sup> in the French capital, but she doesn\u2019t like to play on gravel. However, the American won 4 out of 4 previous meetings.<\/p><p>Lib\u00e9ma Open titleholder Anett Kontaveit will start her hunt for success at Roland Garros against Madison Brengle. The Estonian is seeded 25<sup>th<\/sup> at the world\u2019s largest gravel tournament and never played against Brengle before.<\/p><p>Roland Garros takes place from 27 May till 10 June.
