The current Lib\u00e9ma Open champion was too strong for eighth seed Venus Willliams in the third round: 6-2 7-6(3). Kontaveit also defeated the former world\u2019s number one in Madrid last week.<\/p><p>Earlier this week Kontaveit defeated CoCo Vandeweghe and Svetlana Kuznetsova. The world\u2019s number has not yet lost a single set at the Italian gravel.<\/p><p>The 22-year-old Estonian, who is trained by Holland\u2019s Glen Schaap, will play against Caroline Wozniacki or 15<sup>th<\/sup> seed Anastasija Sevastova for a spot in the semi-finals.
