The world\u2019s number 26 defeated CoCo Vandeweghe with 6-1 6-1.<\/p><p>In a duel between the Lib\u00e9ma Open champions the 22-year-old Estonian was much too strong for 12<sup>th<\/sup> seed Vandeweghe. Kontaveit is the current titleholder of the Lib\u00e9ma Open. Vandeweghe won the grass tournament in Rosmalen in 2014 and 2016.<\/p><p>Vandeweghe has never made a secret of her disliking playing on gravel. The American obviously prefers faster courts. The number 16 of the world will therefore participate again in the WTA tournament in Rosmalen, which will take place immediately after Roland Garros.<\/p><p>Kontaveit is playing well on any kind of court. The pupil of Dutch trainer Glen Schaap will play Svetlana Kuznetsova or Polona Hercog in the second round.
