The Argentinean still has problems with a groin injury which he sustained at Roland Garros.<\/p><p>&#8216;I am sad to be missing out on this event. I was really looking forward to play here. Unfortunately I have not fully recovered from my groin strain in Roland Garros and I must listen to my body and not take any further risks. \u00a0I am sorry and I hope to see you guys next year!&#8217;<\/p><p>Del Potro strained his groin in the second round match in Paris against Nicolas Almagro, but saw his Spanish opponent concede the match a few games later, and the competition did not last very long. The former world number four was defeated by Andy Murray in the third round in three sets.<\/p><p>The current world number 30 has had a lot of injuries in his career. Primarily wrist injuries kept the <em>\u2018Tower of Tandill\u2019<\/em> offside.
