Naomi Osaka has pledged her participation. The four-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one will make her debut in the Netherlands.<\/p><p>From 2018 to 2021, Osaka won a Grand Slam title every year: US Open (2018 and 2020) and Australian Open (2019 and 2021).<br \/>Last summer, the 26-year-old Japanese became a mother of a daughter. Earlier this year, Osaka made her return to the WTA Tour. She herself called it the second part of her career.<\/p><p>In her successful career, in addition to four Grand Slam titles, Osaka also spent 21 weeks continuously at the top of the world rankings. In total, she won seven titles. <\/p><p>Coached by Belgian Wim Fissette, Osaka is known for her strong personality. She devoted herself to many social issues. She is seen as a global role model who pushes boundaries and is an inspiration to many. This already makes her a legend in tennis.<\/p><p>World number five Jessica Pegula had also previously promised her arrival at Lib\u00e9ma Open. Two-time winner Ekaterina Alexandrova, Grand Slam champion Bianca Andreescu and top-30 players Liudmila Samsonova, Emma Navarro, Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens are also in attendance.
