After his sensational victory over Taylor Fritz, he extended his winning streak by beating Hugo Gaston. On court 1 he defeated the Frenchman in straight sets: 7-6(2) 6-4.<\/p><p>The contrast was huge. Gaston small, left-handed, double-handed backhand with a lot of feel balls. Van Rijthoven, large, strong service and sledgehammer blows from the baseline. The 25-year-old Dutchman, who entered with a wildcard, was unapproachable on his own service.
