Due to the Corona pandemic Lib\u00e9ma Open 2020 was postponed to 5-13 June 2021. This week, the week the tournament would have taken place at the beautiful grass courts of the Autotron \u2018s-Hertogenbosch, we look back at some of the players\u2019 greatest, funniest, most emotional and most successful moments during the tournament.<\/p>

This time we interview the only Dutch winner of the singles tournament: Micha\u00eblla Krajicek.<\/p>

The centre court of Lib\u00e9ma Open is special to Micha\u00eblla Krajicek. Once, as a teenager, she fainted when playing on centre court, but two years later she experienced the highlight of her career as a 17-year-old.<\/p>

She won the challenging WTA tournament in 2006 and she is the only Dutch winner of the singles tournament to date.<\/p>

Twofold winner and Krajicek\u2019s half brother Richard presented the trophy. \u2018I thought it was very cool to receive the trophy from Richard during the prizegiving ceremony.\u2019<\/p>

Shortly after she flew to London in a private jet with Mario Ancic. It were special times for young Krajicek, who still keeps a personal gift of the tournament\u2019s director in a special place.<\/p>
