After Kiki Bertens confirmed her participation at the Libéma Open, Stefanos Tsitsipas announced that he will play at the combined WTA/ATP tournmament in Rosmalen.
Top talent Tsitsipas is well on his way to become a big star. The 20-year-old Greek won the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan last year and he is currently the best player under 21. He won his first title at the ATP 250 tournament of Stockholm last year.
He reached the finals at the Masters 1000 tournament of Toronto and the ATP 500 tournament of Barcelona last season. He was stopped by Rafael Nadal at both occassions.
Tsitsipas climbed no less than 76 places in the rankings in a period of just one year and will start the new year as the world’s number 15.
Libéma Open will be held from 10 until 16 June on the grass courts of the Autotron in Rosmalen. Richard Gasquet and Aleksandra Krunic are the current title defenders in the singles tournament.
